Organizational Climate and Performance of Teachers at University Level: A Correctional Study
Abstract
The study was conducted to investigate the relationship between organizational climate and teacher performance at University level. All the teaching staff of University of Kotli were the population of the study. The sample of (113) teachers was chosen using a random sampling technique. The nature of the current study was quantitative. The study employed a descriptive research design, with data collection conducted through a survey method. This study used a standardized questionnaire as a tool. The data was gathered by the researcher during in-person visits to the University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir teachers. Statistical package for Social Science software (SPSS) was used for the analysis of data. The researcher applied frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation for the analysis of data. It was found that every teachers was clear about the role of his/her work at job and the majority of teachers were giving due respect and value by their colleagues. It was also found that teachers received adequate information that they needed to carry out their work. Moreover, there was moderate relation found between organizational climate and performance of teachers
