Abstract

University sexual harassment affects student learning and breaks human respect rules. The Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act guides Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to handle harassment situations. Our university laws suffer from major weaknesses when put into practice. The process of enforcement needs strengthening plus harassment definition requires refinement and reports require comprehensive development alongside higher penalties for wrongdoers. Social customs plus student and staff ignorance boost sexual harassment issues at institutions. This article evaluates Khyber Pakhtunkhwa university harassment laws and their use to make useful suggestions that will protect students and faculty.
